Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables supporting business objectives.
- Create comprehensive project plans and accompanying communications papers.
- Clear and timely communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders is critical.
- Plan, schedule, and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables using the right tools.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Manage project scope changes ahead of time, detect potential problems, and develop contingency measures.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management in the information technology industry.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or comparable professional experience.
